Emily & Brian had a beautiful wedding in Texas with their family, but from the very beginning they knew they wanted to exchange vowels at Yosemite National Park. So we began planning the most magical elopement. The special day began with getting ready and a first look at their Airbnb and then we set out to explore Yosemite.
First, we started exploring Yosemite’s valley floor which offers so many beautiful views. We walked through the trails in the meadows along the rivers and to the chapel. We took in the beautiful site of El Capitan and the deer grazing in El Capitan meadow.
Around Midafternoon we headed up to Glacier Point where we had so many viewpoints of half dome. While we were there it started snowing and it was such a beautiful experience.
Lastly, we headed to Taft Point trailhead and hiked out 30 minutes to Taft point for Emily and Brian to say their vowels at sunset. Let’s just say sunset at Taft Point did not disappoint. On our hike back the sun had set, and we had to use our head lamps to help us finish the hike. Overall, it was the most perfect elopement.
